When you join PyramidOfGold, you are inserted from Right to Left into a random selection column (RSC) along with your Sponsor. For example, if your Sponsor's page represented:

then Susan & John would each be paid (Susan gets $1.00, John gets $3.00). John would then be bumped out of that particular position within the RSC. The position will then be:

Additionally, 29 more identical You ***** Susan positions will be created and inserted randomly into the column. This is how random payment distribution is determined. Each time a random payment is distributed, the process is repeated, giving the person on the left 29 additional spots, and paying both persons.
The busier PyramidOfGold gets, and the more positions you have within the RSC determines how quickly you will receive random payments.
